This is keyword search over a fixed set of public excerpts, with a small hand-built synonym list, computed entirely in your browser. It is not a trained language model and does not know anything beyond what is already on this site. A fuller talking persona is a deferred, heavier build (a large model download or a server-side key), a spend and coordination decision, not something this room fakes.
Voice uses this browser's own built-in speech recognition, which Chrome, Edge, and Safari route through their own speech service rather than running fully on this device. Firefox does not support it at all. A fully local, on-device voice model is a heavier deferred build.
